Indy S concept was designed to offer an all round high performance woofer at a reasonable price point. The new engineering team drew up a wish list of specification points and made several prototypes before settling on the current basket, motor and cone layouts. From there detail changes were made to almost every aspect of the basic design focussing on each detail. Performance was optimised to allow the woofer to run well in almost any enclosure. The Indy S branding was originally conceived in mid 2019, with outline specifications in place by the end of that year. Prototypes were built throughout early 2020 and first production models were made available Q3 2021.
