Crown Customs is a small, family-run car audio business based at The Old Forge, Ilmer – just outside Princes Risborough and Aylesbury. We don't just sell good-quality audio products: we install them, to a high standard and, most importantly, done correctly. Whether it's a simple speaker upgrade in your van or a full custom build, your pride and joy is in safe hands. We fit only products we supply, so we can stand behind every part and every install. Coaxials, component sets and midrange/midbass upgrades, including vehicle-specific kits and OEM-integration speakers.
Subwoofers & Custom Enclosures
Single subs to multi-sub walls, with custom-built ported or sealed enclosures designed for your vehicle.
Amplifiers
Mono, 4-channel, 5-channel and DSP amplifiers, wired and set up properly.
DSP & Tuning
Digital sound processors installed and tuned so your system sounds right, not just loud.
Head Units
Single and double-DIN head units, including Apple CarPlay & Android Auto units, supplied and fitted with the correct fitting accessories.
Lithium & Power Upgrades
Crowncustoms high-discharge lithium batteries, split-charge relays, power wiring and distribution for high-output systems.
VW Van Plug-and-Play Kits
Speaker, amp and subwoofer packages for VW Caddy Mk3/Mk4 and Transporter T5/T5.1, and we can fit them for you.
Competition & SPL Builds
We're best known for our extremely loud demo cars and vans, built and campaigned at competitions. Want serious output? Talk to us.
One-Off Custom Parts
In-house CNC, CO2 laser cutting/etching and 3D printing for custom panels, mounts and trim.

How much does car audio installation cost?
Every vehicle and system is different, so we quote every job individually. Send us your vehicle details and budget and we'll give you a clear price. Please use the quote form – the more detail you give, the more accurate the quote.
Can you fit parts I've bought elsewhere?
We fit only products we supply, so we can stand behind every part and every install. That means we don't fit customer-supplied parts – instead, tell us your vehicle and budget and we'll recommend and quote for the right equipment from our range.
Do you fit the plug-and-play kits you sell online?
Yes – we sell our own CROWNCUSTOMS 100% plug-and-play kits for the VW Caddy Mk3/Mk4 and Transporter T5/T5.1, and we can fit them for you at our workshop. As with every job, fitting is quoted individually – just use the quote form and tell us your vehicle and which kit you're interested in.
How far ahead do I need to book?
Our diary books up in advance. Small jobs are usually 4-6 weeks out, and larger projects around 3 months. It varies, so we'll give you a date with your quote.
What warranty do I get?
Audison & Hertz products come with a 5-year warranty, because we're an authorised Audison/Hertz Masters dealer. Audiotec Fischer products (e.g. Helix, Brax and Match) have a 2-year warranty, and all other brands have a 1-year warranty.
