IndyEVO concept was designed using the IndyS as a base point to offer an all-round Extreme performance woofer at a reasonable price point. The new engineering team drew up a list of specification points and made several prototypes before settling on the current configuration. From there detail changes were made to every aspect of the basic design focussing on each detail. Performance was optimised to allow the woofer to run well in almost any enclosure. The Indy EVO branding was originally conceived in mid-2019, with outline specifications in place by the end of that year. Prototypes were built throughout 2020 and first production models were made available Q3, 2021.
